Pre-Construction, Toorak Project

The 1990s had a grip on this Toorak townhouse — columns, beige overload, and detailing that had well and truly overstayed its welcome. But instead of stripping it back to nothing, we leaned into the home's classical DNA and gave it a contemporary twist. Think: neoclassical minimalism with a moody, modern edge.

From the sculptural marble fireplace and dramatic black floorboards to the custom “Tunnel of Love” passageway in rich Navurban veneer, every detail was reworked to balance tradition with texture, tone, and drama. The kitchen and dining spaces echo quiet luxury — refined, monochromatic, with a splash of gold velvet and navy silk for good measure.

Upstairs, the transformation continues with a master suite that reads like a boutique hotel—layered textures, bronze accents, and a bespoke ensuite wrapped in Carrara marble and reeded glass. Even the powder room got a little extra attitude (as it should). Bold yet timeless, this is a renovation that respects its roots but isn’t afraid of a little reinvention.
